Established in 1994 by Lars Rasmussen, it began as an informal gathering space for musicians and enthusiasts in a former coffee shop. The venue quickly gained recognition for its intimate atmosphere and dedication to showcasing both established international artists and emerging Danish talent. It is known for its excellent acoustics despite its relatively small size – holding approximately 80-100 people – fostering a close connection between performers and audience members.
