Shalosh is scheduled to perform at Victoria Teatern in Malmö, Sweden on December 3rd, 2026. Shalosh creates music generally described as a blend of electronic soundscapes with influences from Middle Eastern and North African musical traditions. Their work often incorporates field recordings and explores themes of identity, displacement, and memory, resulting in a sound that is both atmospheric and rhythmically complex. They frequently utilize synthesizers, samples, and traditional instrumentation within their compositions.

Victoria Teatern, originally constructed in 1889 as a theatre and concert hall, has a long history as a cultural venue in Malmö. Throughout the 20th century it functioned primarily as a cinema, known locally as “Victorian.” In the early 2000s it underwent significant renovation and was re-established as a multi-purpose space hosting a variety of events including concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and club nights. The building retains many original architectural features alongside modern technical capabilities. It’s recognized for its intimate atmosphere and diverse programming catering to independent and alternative arts scenes. The venue is owned by the City of Malmö but operated by an independent organization.
