Garnisonskirken (The Garrison Church) holds historical significance as the church of the Danish military. Following a period of disuse after military restructuring, it was extensively renovated and reopened in 2016, now functioning as a cultural venue alongside continued religious services. The church's interior maintains many original features alongside modern additions designed to accommodate its dual role.
