Koncertkirken Blågårds Plads is a converted church building located in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen. Originally constructed in 1906 as a Grundtvigian folk church, it served as a religious space until 2015. Following extensive renovations, it reopened in 2017 specifically as a concert venue dedicated to jazz and improvised music. The space is notable for its excellent acoustics, stemming from its original architectural design, and its intimate atmosphere which accommodates around 80-100 audience members. It has quickly become a significant hub for both established and emerging artists within the Danish and international improvised music scenes, hosting performances by numerous internationally recognized musicians.
