The Cinematic Orchestra will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany on August 16, 2026. The Elbphilharmonie itself is a landmark concert hall situated in the HafenCity district of Hamburg. Construction began in 2007 and was completed in 2017, facing significant delays and cost overruns. Built atop an existing warehouse – the Kaispeicher A – the hall features a striking glass superstructure designed by Herzog & de Meuron.

Its primary concert hall boasts exceptional acoustics achieved through innovative “vineyard” terracing of seating around the stage, allowing for a closer connection between performers and audience. The building also houses a smaller recital hall, hotel, and residential apartments.
