Experience Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox live on December 15th
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas on December 15, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those of the 1920s–1950s. This often includes genres like jazz, blues, ragtime, and swing, utilizing arrangements that deliberately contrast with the original recordings' production and instrumentation. Bradlee founded the project in 2011, initially as a YouTube channel, and it has since grown into a touring ensemble with a rotating cast of musicians.
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2014 following an extensive renovation of San Antonio’s former Municipal Auditorium. Originally built in 1926 as a venue for conventions and entertainment, the auditorium hosted numerous significant events throughout its history including performances by Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan. The renovation preserved the historic façade while adding contemporary performance spaces. The complex now comprises three primary venues: the Carlos Alvarez Studio Theater, the Mays Family Dog Park Stage at H-E-B Plaza, and the Charles W.
