Chief Adjuah, born Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, will perform at Stable Hall in San Antonio, Texas on December 5, 2026. Adjuah is a contemporary jazz trumpeter known for blending elements of jazz, funk, rock, hip-hop, and West African music. He pioneered the concept of “Stretch Music,” which aims to expand the boundaries of jazz improvisation by incorporating diverse rhythmic and harmonic structures. His compositions often feature electronic effects and explore themes of identity, history, and social justice. He has released numerous critically acclaimed albums and frequently collaborates with artists across multiple genres.

Stable Hall is a historic venue located in the Southtown Arts District of San Antonio. Originally constructed in 1879 as a stable for Pearl Brewery’s horses, it underwent extensive renovations in the early 2000s to transform it into a performance space. The venue retains much of its original architectural character including exposed brick walls and high ceilings contributing to its intimate atmosphere. It is now operated by the same group that runs Paper Tiger and features a diverse range of musical acts and events, focusing on independent and emerging artists. The hall has a capacity of approximately 300 people.
