The Juilliard String Quartet is scheduled to perform at the Rudolfinum in Prague, Czechia on February 15, 2027. The quartet is globally recognized for its interpretations of the classical, romantic, and modern repertoire, characterized by a blend of intellectual rigor and emotional depth. Throughout their decades-long history, they have been particularly noted for their advocacy of works by composers such as Bartók, Schoenberg, and Webern alongside the core canon of Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn. Their playing style often emphasizes clarity of texture and a profound understanding of musical structure.

The Rudolfinum serves as one of Prague’s premier concert halls and a significant cultural landmark. Originally built between 1879 and 1884 as the home for the Czech Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature, it quickly became central to Prague's musical life. The Dvořák Hall within the Rudolfinum is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and ornate Neo-Renaissance architecture. Antonín Dvořák himself conducted the opening concert in 1885. Beyond concerts, the building also houses art galleries and serves as a venue for other cultural events.
