Seong-Jin Cho, the South Korean classical pianist who rose to international prominence after winning the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition, will perform at the Rudolfinum in Prague on February 5th, 2027. Cho is recognized for his poetic and nuanced interpretations, often characterized by a refined touch, clarity of articulation, and a deeply expressive approach to Romantic repertoire, particularly Chopin. While proficient across a broad range of composers, his performances frequently highlight a sensitive understanding of melodic line and harmonic color.

The Rudolfinum serves as one of Prague’s foremost cultural institutions and a significant concert venue. Completed in 1884, it was originally built to house the Czech National Museum but quickly became central to Prague’s musical life. The Dvořák Hall within the Rudolfinum is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and ornate Neo-Renaissance architecture.
