The concert will take place at the *Cisterna* within the Castelo de Marvão in Marvão, Portugal. This historical cistern is an integral part of the castle’s defensive system, originally constructed during the medieval period – likely initiated in the 13th century under King Dinis – and significantly modified throughout subsequent centuries, particularly during Portuguese rule following its conquest from the Moors. Cisterns like this were vital for sustaining a garrison during sieges, providing a secure water supply within fortified walls.

The Castelo de Marvão itself is situated atop a steep granite peak, offering strategic control over a vast area of the Alentejo plains. The castle's architecture reflects influences from various periods including Moorish and Manueline styles, showcasing its layered history.
