The Engegård Quartet will perform at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead, United Kingdom on March 6, 2027. The quartet is recognized for its interpretations of Scandinavian composers, particularly those from Norway – a reflection of their origins – alongside core classical repertoire. The Glasshouse represents a significant recent development in Gateshead’s cultural landscape. Officially opening in January 2024, it consolidated Hall One and Hall Two – previously known as The Sage Gateshead – with a new smaller hall, creating a national centre for music. The building's design incorporates extensive use of glass, offering views of the Tyne and Wear landscape.
