Alkaline Trio will perform at Metropol in Berlin, Germany on June 30, 2026. The band is recognized for their distinctive blend of melodic hardcore, punk rock, and emo influences, often incorporating dark lyrical themes and a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies. Formed in Chicago in 1998, Alkaline Trio has released nine studio albums to date, consistently maintaining a dedicated fanbase throughout their career. Their sound is characterized by driving rhythms, catchy guitar riffs, and introspective songwriting.

Metropol is a prominent multi-purpose event venue located in the Mitte district of Berlin. Originally constructed in 1910 as the Theater Admiralspalast, it underwent significant renovation and reopened as Metropol in 2002. The building’s history includes periods as a cinema and a television studio for DEFA (the East German state film studio). It retains much of its original Art Nouveau architectural detailing, offering a visually striking atmosphere for performances.

The venue currently hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, musicals, shows and conferences with a capacity of approximately 2,400 standing or 1,600 seated.
