Lisner Auditorium, located on the campus of George Washington University, opened in 1971. Designed by architect Harry Weese, the auditorium is characterized by its Brutalist architectural style featuring exposed concrete and a distinctive fan-shaped seating arrangement accommodating approximately 1,400 patrons. It has hosted a wide array of performances including concerts, lectures, theatrical productions and dance recitals.
