PKF - Prague Philharmonia is recognized for its interpretations of classical and romantic repertoire, with a particular focus on works by Czech composers. The concert on October 8th, 2026 will be held at Prague Castle, a historical complex dating back to the 9th century. Originally founded as a fortified settlement, it progressively developed into a seat of power for Bohemian kings, Holy Roman Emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. The Castle comprises palaces, churches – including St. Vitus Cathedral – gardens and fortifications representing diverse architectural styles including Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. It remains one of the largest ancient castle complexes in the world and is designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
