Experience Nederlands Kamerkoor live on December 20th
Nederlands Kamerkoor is renowned as one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, specializing in a cappella performance and collaborations spanning early music to contemporary compositions. Their repertoire frequently includes both established choral works and newly commissioned pieces, often exploring innovative approaches to vocal expression and challenging traditional choral boundaries. The choir is known for its precise intonation, dynamic range, and expressive interpretations.
The concert on December 20, 2026 will take place at Amare, a modern cultural complex in The Hague. Amare opened in 2021 and serves as the home for the Residentie Orkest (The Hague Philharmonic Orchestra), Nederlands Dans Theater, and the Nationale Opera & Ballet. The building itself occupies a prominent location near Spui square, replacing the former Lucent Danstheater and Theater aan het Spui.
Designed by Mecanoo architects, Amare integrates multiple performance spaces – including the large Grote Zaal (Main Hall), the smaller Jurriaanse Zaal, and various studio spaces – within a distinctive glass-clad structure.
