Tarmo Peltokoski, a Finnish composer and accordionist, will perform at De Doelen in Rotterdam on March 5th, 2027. De Doelen is a renowned concert hall in Rotterdam, historically significant as the primary venue for classical music in the city. Originally built in 1931, it underwent substantial renovation and expansion completed in 2006, designed by architect Francine Houben of Mecanoo. The hall is celebrated for its acoustics and its architectural integration with the surrounding cityscape. It comprises several spaces including the Jurriaanse Zaal (Jurriaanse Hall), known for its intimate setting and excellent sound quality, and the Grote Zaal (Great Hall), accommodating larger orchestral performances.
