Experience Nederlands Kamerkoor live on October 4th
Nederlands Kamerkoor is renowned for its versatility and commitment to both established choral repertoire and contemporary compositions. The ensemble performs across a wide range of genres, including Renaissance polyphony, Baroque masterpieces, 20th and 21st-century works, and frequently collaborates with artists from diverse musical backgrounds – jazz, world music, and electronic music are all within their scope. They are considered one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, known for their precision, expressive interpretations, and innovative programming.
The concert will take place at Amare, a modern cultural complex in The Hague inaugurated in 2021. Amare houses the Residentie Orkest (The Hague Philharmonic), Nederlands Dans Theater, and operates as a dynamic venue for a variety of performances including opera, musicals, concerts and dance. The building itself occupies a prominent location near Spui square and is constructed on the site previously occupied by the Lucent Danstheater and the Nationale Schouwburg – significant venues in Dutch performing arts history.
Amare's design incorporates elements intended to create an inviting public space alongside its performance halls; its glass facade aims to offer visibility into the building’s activity.
