The Biltmore Cabaret is a long-standing live music venue located in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver. Originally opening in 1968 as a folk music club named “The Railway Club”, it has hosted a diverse range of performers across numerous genres throughout its history, including blues, jazz, country, and rock. The venue underwent a rebranding as the Biltmore Cabaret in 2008 while retaining its intimate performance space and focus on showcasing both established and emerging artists. It is known for its relatively small capacity—approximately 250 people—and its historic character, maintaining much of its original architectural detail. The venue continues to operate as a key part of Vancouver’s independent music ecosystem.
