Lukáš Vondráček, a Czech pianist recognized for his interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire, particularly the works of composers like Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, will perform at the Rudolfinum in Prague on January 30, 2027. His playing is often described as possessing both technical brilliance and a deeply expressive quality, frequently drawing comparisons to historical performance traditions. Vondráček gained international recognition after winning the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2016.

The Rudolfinum serves as one of Prague’s foremost cultural institutions and a significant architectural landmark. Originally built between 1879 and 1884 as the home of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts, its design by Josef Schulz incorporates Neo-Renaissance elements.
