Johan Dalene, a Swedish violinist and composer, will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on August 25, 2026. The Elbphilharmonie itself is a concert hall in the HafenCity district of Hamburg. Its construction spanned nearly a decade, opening in January 2017 after significant cost overruns and delays. Built atop an existing warehouse – the Kaispeicher A – the Elbphilharmonie features a distinctive glass façade designed by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. The building houses a large concert hall with seating for 2,100 people, a smaller recital hall, and residential apartments.
