The concert on May 18, 2027, will be held in Smetana Hall, located within Prague’s Municipal House (Obecní dům). Completed in 1912, the Municipal House was conceived as a representative cultural centre for Prague, intended to rival Vienna’s Burgtheater. Its construction was funded by the city itself and private donations, showcasing a deliberate effort to establish Prague as a major European cultural hub.

Smetana Hall, the largest hall within the complex, is renowned for its Art Nouveau design and exceptional acoustics. The hall’s decoration features works by prominent Czech artists like Alfons Mucha, František Foltýn and Jan Preisler.
