Igor Levit will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany on June 24, 2027. The Elbphilharmonie itself opened in January 2017 after a decade of construction and significant cost overruns. Built atop an existing warehouse – the Kaispeicher A – it has quickly become a landmark architectural achievement and one of Europe’s leading concert halls. Designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, its distinctive glass façade reflects the port city’s maritime character. The building houses the main concert hall with seating for 2,100 people, as well as a smaller recital hall, hotel, and residential apartments.
