Kostel Sv. Simona A Juda is a Baroque church constructed between 1691-1693, designed by Giovanni Domenico Orsi. It’s notable for its relatively modest exterior contrasting with its richly decorated interior featuring frescoes by Jan Elias Horlivský depicting scenes from the lives of Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus. The church underwent significant restoration in the late 20th century after suffering damage during World War II and periods under communist rule when it was used for storage rather than religious services.
