Berliner Barock Solisten will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on February 23, 2027. The Elbphilharmonie itself opened in January 2017 after a decade of construction atop an existing warehouse – the Kaispeicher A – in the HafenCity district of Hamburg. Designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, the building is notable for its glass construction and wave-like roof. It houses a concert hall with a capacity of approximately 2,100 seats renowned for its exceptional acoustics achieved through the “White Skin” interior design developed by Yasuhisa Toyota. Beyond the main hall, the Elbphilharmonie includes smaller venues, restaurants, and a public plaza offering panoramic views of the city and harbor.
