Asya Fateyeva, a pianist recognized for her interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire, particularly the works of Rachmaninoff and Scriabin, will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on September 9, 2026. Fateyeva’s playing is often described as possessing both technical brilliance and a deeply expressive quality, frequently highlighting the emotional core of the compositions she performs. She has gained international acclaim through concert appearances across Europe and Asia, as well as recordings receiving critical praise.

The Elbphilharmonie itself opened in January 2017 after a decade of complex construction atop an existing warehouse in Hamburg’s HafenCity district. Designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, it is renowned for its striking glass facade and its innovative acoustic design created by Yasuhisa Toyota. The building houses the Grand Hall, a concert venue seating approximately 2,100 people, celebrated for its “White Skin” interior which contributes to its exceptional sound quality.
