yonglee & the DOLTANG, a South Korean musical group, will be performing at Panda Theater in Berlin on July 4th, 2026. Their music is characterized by a fusion of Korean traditional folk music – particularly *minyo* – with elements of post-punk, new wave, and experimental rock. The band utilizes traditional Korean instruments alongside electric guitars, bass, and drums, creating a distinctive and energetic sound often described as both nostalgic and modern. They gained recognition for their unique approach to preserving and reinterpreting Korean musical heritage within a contemporary context.

Panda Theater, located in the Neukölln district of Berlin, is a privately-owned venue known for its intimate atmosphere and focus on independent and alternative performances. Originally established in 2018 by artist collective ‘Good Job!’ , the space was conceived as an experimental platform for emerging artists across various disciplines including music, theatre, performance art and film. The theater’s design intentionally retains a raw aesthetic; it’s relatively small capacity fosters close interaction between performers and audiences. It has become a recognized hub within Berlin’s independent cultural scene, frequently hosting international acts alongside local talent.
