The Vienna Philharmonic will perform at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 12, 2026. The Vienna Philharmonic is renowned for its distinctive sound, characterized by warmth and a rich tonal palette. The Amaturo Theater, located within the Broward Center, underwent a significant renovation completed in November 2023. Originally known as the Au-Rene Theater, it was renamed following a substantial donation from Janice and David Amaturo. The theater is designed to accommodate a variety of performances including Broadway shows, concerts, dance recitals, and opera. It features approximately 2,000 seats and boasts state-of-the-art acoustics and technical capabilities. The Broward Center itself opened in 1990 and has become a major cultural hub for South Florida, hosting national and international touring productions alongside local arts organizations.
