Massive Attack founding member Robert Del Naja, known professionally as Tricky, is scheduled to perform at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 6, 2026. Tricky’s musical style is often categorized as trip-hop, though it incorporates elements of alternative rock, dub, experimental electronic music, and hip-hop. His work is characterized by dark, atmospheric soundscapes, unconventional sampling, and often features spoken-word vocals and layered textures. He rose to prominence in the early 1990s with his debut album *Maxinquaye* (1995), which is considered a landmark release in the trip-hop genre. Throughout his career, Tricky has consistently explored themes of paranoia, isolation and internal conflict within his music.

The Fine Line is a well-known independent music venue located in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. Originally opened as a cinema in 1987 showing independent and foreign films, it transitioned into a dedicated music venue in 2015 following renovations. The space maintains an intimate concert experience with a capacity of approximately 750 people.
