Roomful of Blues will perform at the Spire Center for the Performing Arts in Plymouth, Massachusetts on April 23, 2027. The band is recognized for its high-energy performances rooted in blues music, encompassing elements of jump blues, swing, R&B, and soul. Founded in 1969 in Rhode Island, Roomful of Blues has a long history of showcasing both established and emerging blues talent; several musicians who gained prominence later in their careers began with this ensemble. Throughout its existence, the band has maintained a consistent focus on instrumental proficiency and dynamic arrangements.

The Spire Center for the Performing Arts is a restored 1920s movie palace located in downtown Plymouth. Originally known as the Loew Plymouth Theatre, it operated as a cinema until its closure in 1986. Following a period of disuse and subsequent efforts by the Plymouth Redevelopment Authority and local community groups, the building underwent extensive renovations. It reopened as a performing arts center in 2014. The venue hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, and community gatherings within its historically significant architectural setting. Its capacity is approximately 350 seats.
