Tommy Emmanuel, an Australian guitarist renowned for his complex percussive style and energetic performances, is scheduled to appear in concert at the Kammermusiksaal in Berlin on April 23, 2027. His music blends elements of fingerstyle guitar, blues, jazz, country, and rock and roll, often creating the illusion of a full band through his innovative techniques. The Kammermusiksaal, located within the Haus des Rundfunks (House of Broadcasting) in Berlin-Plänkenwerder, is a historically significant concert hall. Originally built between 1935 and 1943 as a broadcasting studio for the Deutschlandsender during the Nazi era, it underwent extensive reconstruction after World War II. Today it’s operated by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra) and is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics.
