Tom Gaebel is a German composer, arranger, and pianist known for his distinctive style often described as “German Swing” or “Crossover.” His music blends elements of jazz, swing, lounge, and easy listening, frequently incorporating orchestral arrangements and a retro aesthetic reminiscent of 1950s and 60s film scores. He frequently collaborates with the MDR Symphony Orchestra and has composed music for numerous television productions.

The Admiralspalast in Berlin serves as the venue for the performance on May 30th, 2027. Originally opening in 1910 as the Admiralpalast-Theater, it initially functioned as a variety theatre showcasing revues, operettas, and musical performances. Throughout its history, it became a significant entertainment hub in Berlin, hosting prominent artists and events.

Following damage during World War II, the building underwent reconstruction and continued to operate as a theatre. In the East German era (GDR), it was renamed the Theater Admiralspalast and served as a state theatre. After reunification, it experienced periods of varying use before undergoing extensive renovation completed in 2023.
