The Hallé orchestra will perform at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on April 23, 2027. The Hallé is renowned as one of the United Kingdom’s leading symphony orchestras, with a performance history dating back to 1848. Its repertoire encompasses a broad range of classical music, from core orchestral works by composers like Beethoven, Brahms and Mahler, to contemporary pieces and commissions. The orchestra is also known for its strong choral tradition, frequently performing large-scale choral works.

Bridgewater Hall opened in 1996 and serves as the primary concert venue for the Hallé, as well as hosting a variety of other musical performances and events. Designed by Renton, Eggert & Associates and Arup Acoustics, the hall prioritises acoustic excellence; its vineyard-style seating arrangement surrounds the stage, bringing audience members closer to the performers and enhancing sound projection. The hall’s construction involved significant civic investment aiming to establish Manchester as a major cultural hub. It replaced the Free Trade Hall as the city's premier concert space – a venue with its own rich musical history having hosted performances by many prominent musicians since its opening in 1856.
