Kochanovsky’s playing is often described as possessing a profound emotional depth combined with virtuosic flair, frequently featuring works by composers such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Scriabin. He has gained international recognition through awards at major competitions and performances with leading orchestras globally.

Bridgewater Hall opened in September 1996 and is Manchester’s international concert hall. Designed by architects Artec Consultants Inc., the hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, consistently ranked among the best in Europe. The design prioritised natural reverberation and clarity of sound, achieved through careful consideration of the hall’s shape, materials and adjustable acoustic elements.
