The Hallé orchestra will perform at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on January 29, 2027. The Hallé is a British symphony orchestra renowned for its broad repertoire, encompassing classical works from the core canon alongside contemporary compositions. Historically, the orchestra has a strong association with the works of Elgar and Vaughan Williams, but regularly performs music spanning several centuries and styles. Founded in 1848 by Charles Hallé, it maintains a reputation for both technical skill and expressive interpretations.

Bridgewater Hall, opened in 1996, is Manchester’s international concert hall and a leading performance venue in the United Kingdom. Designed by Renton, Eggert & Associates, it was specifically built to address acoustic deficiencies in existing Manchester venues. The hall's acoustics are highly regarded, achieved through a vineyard-style seating arrangement surrounding the stage and employing advanced reverberation control systems. It serves as the primary home of The Hallé, as well as hosting visiting orchestras and ensembles across various genres. The building also incorporates significant public art installations and offers educational programs alongside its concert schedule. Its construction was partially funded by a Millennium Commission lottery grant.
