Swedish Radio Choir will perform at Storkyrkan in Stockholm on February 6, 2027. The choir is renowned for its versatility and exceptionally precise vocal blend, performing repertoire spanning from early music through contemporary compositions, with a particular focus on choral works by Nordic composers. They frequently commission new pieces and are known for innovative concert formats alongside traditional choral performance practice.

Storkyrkan, or Stockholm Cathedral, holds significant historical and national importance for Sweden. Originally constructed in the 13th century, it has witnessed coronations and royal weddings for centuries, including most recently the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria in 2010. The building’s architecture reflects various periods; while retaining its medieval foundations, substantial renovations occurred in the late 19th century under architect Johan Fredrik Åbom, resulting in a Neo-Gothic style.

The church's interior features notable artwork, including sculptures by Johan Tobias Sergel and paintings by Carl Larsson. Its acoustics are well-suited to vocal performances due to the space’s size and resonant materials.
