Kühlhaus Berlin is a venue located in the Moabit district of Berlin, housed within a former industrial refrigeration plant – hence its name, translating to “Cool House.” Originally built in the late 19th century to provide ice for Berlin's breweries and food storage, the building underwent conversion into a cultural space in the early 1990s. It quickly became an important location for Berlin’s burgeoning techno scene following German reunification, hosting numerous influential parties and events.
