Pynarello will perform at Muziekgebouw Amsterdam on January 24, 2027. The ensemble is recognized for its innovative approach to chamber music, blending elements of classical repertoire with contemporary improvisation and electronic soundscapes. Their performances often feature a unique instrumentation centered around the prepared piano – a piano with objects placed on or between the strings to alter its sound – alongside other acoustic instruments and live electronics. Pynarello’s compositions frequently explore textures, extended techniques, and the interplay between composed and spontaneous musical material.

Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, opened in 2005, is a concert hall specifically designed for contemporary and new music. Located within the Amsterdam International Fashion Centre, it stands adjacent to the Concertgebouw, known for its traditional classical programming. Muziekgebouw distinguishes itself through its architectural flexibility; its main hall, known as the Grote Zaal, can be adapted to various configurations to suit different performance needs. The building also houses smaller spaces for more intimate performances and educational activities. It is operated by the Concertgebouw Amsterdam foundation and serves as a key venue for both Dutch and international artists working in contemporary music genres.
