Omega Ensemble will perform at ACO on the Pier, located at Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay, Sydney, on November 28, 2026. Omega Ensemble is a chamber music group known for its innovative programming and arrangements, frequently reimagining works originally composed for larger ensembles for their instrumentation of clarinet, violin, cello and piano. ACO on the Pier is a dedicated performance space operated by the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO). Established in 2018 following significant renovations to the heritage-listed warehouses at Walsh Bay, it provides an intimate and acoustically refined venue for chamber music. The space was specifically designed to foster a close connection between performers and audience members; seating is arranged to surround the musicians, creating an immersive experience. It’s intended as a flexible performance space capable of hosting a variety of configurations and artistic presentations beyond traditional concert formats. ACO on the Pier aims to showcase both established and emerging artists within the chamber music landscape.
