Experience Nobuyuki Tsujii live on May 14th

Nobuyuki Tsujii, a Japanese pianist who gained international recognition as the gold medalist of the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will perform at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on May 14, 2027. Tsujii is known for his deeply expressive and technically brilliant performances, often characterized by a romantic and poetic interpretation of classical repertoire. Despite being blind since birth, he possesses a remarkable ability to memorize and internalize musical scores, delivering performances marked by nuanced phrasing and emotional depth. His repertoire spans a wide range, including works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, and contemporary composers.

The Hong Kong Cultural Centre, opened in 1990, is a major performing arts venue located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Designed by Sir Norman Foster, it features a distinctive architectural style incorporating glass and steel elements. The Centre comprises a Concert Hall seating approximately 2,062 people, a Grand Theatre accommodating around 1,400, and smaller spaces for exhibitions and other events.
