Sunwook Kim, a South Korean classical violinist recognized for his technically brilliant and emotionally insightful performances, will perform at the Concert Hall in Hong Kong on November 21, 2026. Kim’s interpretations are often noted for their clarity, precision, and a lyrical quality that balances respect for the score with personal expression. He gained international recognition after winning the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. His repertoire spans a wide range of composers from the standard classical canon to more contemporary works.

The Concert Hall is one of the primary performance venues within the Hong Kong Cultural Centre complex, which opened in 1990. Designed by Léon Charles and Wilhelm Schnüder, it is renowned for its excellent acoustics and serves as a major hub for orchestral concerts, chamber music performances, and other large-scale musical events. The hall's design incorporates adjustable acoustic reflectors to optimize sound projection and clarity for diverse ensembles and performance styles. It has hosted numerous internationally acclaimed orchestras and soloists throughout its history, becoming a significant landmark in Hong Kong’s cultural landscape. The hall seats approximately 2,099 people.
