New Cool Collective will perform at Paradiso in Amsterdam on February 25, 2027. The band is a Dutch ensemble known for its distinctive blend of jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop influences, often described as ‘nu-jazz’. Formed in the early 1990s, they gained prominence for their instrumental compositions and energetic live performances, incorporating elements of improvisation and groove-based rhythms. Their sound frequently features prominent horn sections and a sophisticated harmonic palette.

Paradiso is a renowned concert venue located in Amsterdam, originally consecrated as a church in 1880. Throughout the 1960s and 70s it transitioned into a cultural center and ultimately a music venue, becoming central to the counterculture movement in the Netherlands. The building retains much of its original ecclesiastical architecture – including stained glass windows – creating a unique atmosphere for performances. It’s operated by the Paradiso Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting live music. The venue hosts a diverse range of international artists across various genres and has a capacity of approximately 2,500 people for standing concerts.
