Nearly Dead is a nationally touring Grateful Dead tribute band known for recreating the energy and improvisational spirit of the original group. They focus on accurately performing songs from various eras of the Grateful Dead’s extensive catalog, emphasizing extended jams and a faithful reproduction of the band’s live sound. The group features seasoned musicians dedicated to honoring the legacy of Jerry Garcia and his collaborators.

The Spire Center for the Performing Arts is located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, housed within a renovated historic building originally constructed in 1900 as a Chautauqua Hall. Throughout its history, the building has served multiple purposes including a venue for lectures, performances, and community gatherings. The Spire Center underwent significant restoration in recent years to transform it into a modern performing arts facility while preserving its architectural heritage. It now functions as a multi-disciplinary arts center hosting concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, and other cultural events. The venue aims to provide accessible arts experiences for the South Shore community and beyond with a focus on diverse programming. Its capacity is approximately 350 seated or 500 standing.
