Monsieur Periné will perform at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco on July 30, 2026. The group, originating from Bogotá, Colombia, blends jazz harmonies with traditional Colombian rhythms like cumbia, porro, and bullerengue, often incorporating elements of French chanson and Latin American folk music. Their sound is characterized by Catalina García’s vocals and Nicolás Junca’s guitar work alongside arrangements featuring brass and percussion. Formed in 2007, Monsieur Periné has garnered international recognition for their unique musical fusion and energetic live performances.

The SFJAZZ Center, which opened in 2013, is a leading jazz performance venue and education center. Located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, it was designed by Mark Cavagnero Associates to optimize acoustics and provide an intimate concert experience. The Center houses two primary performance spaces: the Robert N. Miner Auditorium (approximately 700 seats) and the Joe Henderson Lab (approximately 100 seats). SFJAZZ itself is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing jazz and related musical genres through performances, education programs, and artist support.
