De Roma is a historic concert venue located in the Borgerhout district of Antwerp. Originally constructed in 1928 as a cinema – hence its name meaning “Rome” in Italian – it operated as such for several decades before transitioning into a multi-purpose event space. The building underwent significant renovations in the 1980s which adapted it specifically for live performances while retaining much of its original Art Deco architectural features.

Today, De Roma hosts a diverse range of musical acts, theatre productions, and other cultural events. It’s known for its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics; the main hall accommodates approximately 650 standing or 450 seated attendees.
