Molchat Doma, a Belarusian post-punk band formed in Minsk in 2017, will be performing at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona on September 16, 2026. The group is recognized for its distinctive sound characterized by dark, minimalist instrumentation, baritone vocals primarily sung in Russian, and lyrical themes often exploring alienation and societal anxieties. Their music draws heavily from the aesthetics of 1980s post-punk and cold wave genres. They gained international recognition through social media platforms and have since toured extensively.

The Rialto Theatre, located in downtown Tucson, originally opened in 1927 as a vaudeville house and cinema. Designed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style by architect Leo Reed, it operated as a prominent movie palace for several decades. Following a period of decline and closure in the 1970s, the theatre underwent extensive renovations funded by local community efforts and grants.

Reopened in 1995, the Rialto Theatre now functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting live music performances, theatrical productions, film screenings and community events.
