Experience Molchat Doma
Molchat Doma (Молчат Дома), meaning “Houses are Silent” in Russian, is a Belarusian post-punk band formed in Minsk in 2017. The trio – vocalist Kirill Belonogov, guitarist Roman Komarov, and drummer Vladimir Mikhalok – gained international recognition following a viral TikTok trend in early 2021 centered around their song "Sudno (Борис Рыжий)."
Their music is characterized by its stark, minimalist sound, heavily influenced by 1980s Soviet post-punk and cold wave aesthetics. Belonogov’s distinctive baritone vocals, delivered primarily in Russian, contribute to the band's melancholic and atmospheric style.
Molchat Doma have released three studio albums: *Visnovyj Sad* (2018), *Etazhi* (2021), and *Diuna* (2023). *Etazhi* specifically benefited from the TikTok exposure, charting on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart. They’ve toured extensively across Europe and North America, building a dedicated fanbase.
