Hum On King is a performance venue located within the former St. Stephen’s Church hall in Newtown. Originally constructed in 1898 as a Sunday school and community space associated with St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, the building underwent secularisation and various uses before being repurposed as a dedicated music and arts venue in 2018. The space retains many of its original architectural features including stained glass windows and high ceilings, contributing to its unique atmosphere. It's known for hosting both established and emerging artists across a range of genres, with a focus on independent music and experimental performance art. The venue has a capacity of approximately 150 people and prioritises providing an intimate setting for performers and audiences alike.
