Ezra Collective is a British quintet renowned for their dynamic blend of jazz, Afrobeat, and hip-hop influences. Formed in 2015, the group—featuring Femi Koleoso on drums, TJ Koleoso on bass, Joe Armon-Jones on keys, James Darcey on guitar, and Nubya Garcia on saxophone—has gained international recognition for their energetic live performances and critically acclaimed albums including “You Can’t Steal My Joy” which won the Mercury Prize in 2023. Their music often incorporates improvisation and draws upon a diverse range of musical traditions.

Carriageworks, located in Eveleigh, Australia, is a contemporary arts facility housed within a historic railway workshop. Originally built as a major railway repair complex between 1882 and 1889, the site was repurposed in 1999 to become a multi-arts centre. The building’s industrial architecture is a defining characteristic; its vast open spaces are frequently utilized for large-scale performances, exhibitions and installations. Carriageworks is known for presenting a diverse program encompassing contemporary dance, theatre, visual arts, music and opera.
