The theatre features a grand marble foyer, ornate ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, and a proscenium arch framed by elaborate plasterwork. Initially built for screenings of silent films accompanied by a Wurlitzer organ – which remains in place and is occasionally used – it transitioned to live performances after the advent of “talkies.”
