The band is a British instrumental quartet known for their unique blend of jazz, electronic music, and traditional folk influences, particularly drawing from Eastern European and Arabic musical modes. Their compositions often feature intricate melodies played on saxophone, piano, tabla, and synthesizer, creating a sound that is both atmospheric and rhythmically complex.

Centro Cultural de Belém is a prominent arts centre located in the Belém district of Lisbon. Opened in 1993 as part of the celebrations for Portugal’s presidency of the European Council and its hosting of Expo '98, the CCB was designed by architect Vladimir Alves. It functions as a multidisciplinary space encompassing concert halls, a theatre, exhibition spaces, gardens and a library. The complex aims to promote Portuguese culture alongside international artistic expression. Its main concert hall, Sala Grande, is known for its acoustics and hosts a diverse range of performances including classical music, opera, ballet and contemporary music acts.
